Any one else...

 BEFORE

AFTER

Does anyone else dread the time of the week that the playroom has gotten so bad, that something has to be done? The absolute worst time of the week for me is that time! I put it off as long as I can, then trying to be a good mother and teach my children that they have to clean up after themselves, I round them up and say, "We need to clean up the playroom." Then the moans, crying, whining, telling me they didn't make the mess, telling me who did make the mess, etc. starts. That is about the time I think why am I not doing it by myself?! So we start cleaning, by assigning everybody a job. Will lines up the totes against the wall, Addison starts rounding up the books, Wyatt, well with Wyatt, I am just glad if he is in the room. And Jessie is usually helping by undoing all the stuff we clean up. So after alot of "stop playing with every toy you pick up", "Addison stop reading every book you pick up!", "Wyatt please put SOMETHING away!", "UGH! Jessie don't dump out the tote!". And about an hour and a half, and a couple of excedrin for me the playroom is clean! But as I type this they have gotten a car track down. I just begged Will to not get anything out at least for a little while! You want to know what he said to me? "Mom we are going to put it up when we are done." That is a nice thought, but I won't hold my breath!

Really...it's over?

Addison was a punk rocker, Will an Army guy, Wyatt was Buzz Lightyear and Jessie a pumpkin. Nobody wanted to cooperate so these pictures are as good as it gets!

I just thought this was a cute pic of Jess!

Halloween this year for me was kind of a whirlwind. And we did Halloween this year on a strict budget (Thanks to the McKinneys for the letting us borrow a couple of costumes!), so I don't feel like I was able to get as into it as normal.  But all the kids seemed to be very satisfied with how it went and with their candy amounts (Which is all that really matters to me)! We had a few Halloween events to go to, starting Friday with Tom's work Family Halloween Party. That is always fun lots of food, lots of balloons, clowns that do face paint and balloon animals, swords, hats, or whatever you want actually! Then on the way home we stopped by the Arlington Ward's trunk or treat. Saturday Tom and I did the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure! We walked the 5k for Laura Wynn from Tom's work. She is a survivor of breast cancer for almost 4 years! It was fun to see how much everyone gets into it and to see how special it is especially for the survivors. Then that night we had our Ward's Trunk or Treat. We stayed for about an hour then came back to trick or treat with our neighbors, while Grandma Ellen and Aunt Joan manned the door to hand out candy! All in all it was a fun weekend! Now on to Thanksgiving!

Holy Cow! 10!

Ten years ago today, I had two tiny, black haired girls! It was the happiest and scariest day of my life! Everything didn't turn out like we hoped, but i know that it will in our next life! But we have Addison to celebrate today! And she is the big 1-0! Happy Birthday to my loving, helpful, shy, beautiful daughter! Here is Addison through the years!

More...More...More

Jessie has become obsessed with these headbands I use to put on her when she was a little baby. She will get one and bring it to me to put on her. Then she will look at me and say, "Mo-ar, Mo-ar?" (which is her way of saying "more") and then before I can answer she answers her own question by saying, "Uh-huh!" She then runs to the closet and comes out with as many as she can carry and hands me them one by one to put them on her. After they are all on her she runs to the full length mirror and looks at herself. Then takes them all off and starts over!

Spring Break with the Mouse!

We spent the kids spring break in Disney World with Mickey! We went with my Mom, Michael and Aunt Sandra! We all had a blast! I love watching my kids experience new things and having so much fun doing it!

This is Addi, Will, and Wyatt in the dinosaur playground at the Animal Kingdom.

I love everyone's faces in this one! Will and Addison are covering their ears, I am not even looking, Tom is smiling like he sees a funny clown, Michael looks like "whatever", and Mom and Wyatt look scared!

The kids with Mickey at our character breakfast in Africa!

Me and my Baby Girl!

This is Tracy and her daughter Sophia, with Jess and I. Tracy lives in Orlando and we have been friends since middle school! It was great to see her and meet her sweet daughter!

Will and Wyatt with Lego Indiana Jones. Yes it is totally made out of Legos!

The kids with Pooh. Jessie was obsessed with Pooh! While we were waiting in line I had to hold her back from just running up to him! It was the cutest thing!

I just thought this one was funny! It looks like Wyatt is taking a poop in the plant food at Minnie's house!

Wyatt driving his racecar! He can't even see over the steering wheel!

I had to post a picture of the Momma duck and her babies. They were just walking around through the crowd at the entrance to Magic Kingdom. And everyone around us, as well as us, are telling there kids not to chase them or scare them. Well I turn around and look and Wyatt has caught one of the babies and is holding it! Omigosh! Only Wyatt!

The kids with Walt and Minnie!

Papa, Jessie, and Annie. Aunt Sandra is behind us!

Tom, Wyatt and Addison on the Astrorbiter!

Well we have been snowed in for the last 4 days, and just found out we are going to make it 5 tomorrow. Here are a few pictures of the snow days!
